1. Why would California want to reschedule it's primary from March to June?  If this question was coming up now what would you recommend to Governor Arnold?

2. Has the primary system made it easier or harderto get a party's nomination?  Explain why it is either a better or a worse system than in the past.

3. Given the fact that campaigns are relying more and more on hige-tech methods, let your imagination go and write a paragraph predicting what sort of campaigning we might see in the presidential election of 2024 (the first time most of you will be eligable to run for president).

4. What do you think about PAC’s and their influence on the electoral process?

5. What is the impact of the media on  campaigns and what is the impact of election campaigns on voters?

6.  Your opinion:  Are the nominating process and political campaigns too democratic?  Give your justification.
