Summer Schedule
July/Early August Rehearsals
All practices are mandatory for drumline, guard, and new marchers; they are highly recommended for everyone else.
- Drumline practice from 4:30pm to 7:30pm all Tuesdays starting on 7/9.
- Full marching band practices from 4:30pm to 7:00pm all Thursdays starting on 7/11; drumline goes till 7:30pm,
- Guard has additional practices throughout the summer; see the guard home page.
Pre-band Camp
- Monday, 8/12 and Tuesday, 8/13 - uniform fittings from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. Come only one day.
- Wednesday, 8/14 and Thursday, 8/15 - 8:00am to 5:00 pm - full-day rehearsal for new marchers, guard, drumline, and leadership. Section leaders will be tested on music.
- Friday, 8/16 - 8:00am to 5:00pm - practice for all TJMC; all will be tested on music.
Band Camp
Sunday, 8/18 through Friday, 8/23 - away band camp at Shrine Month, Orkney Springs, Virginia. We check in at TJ at 10am on Sunday and return to TJ at 1pm on Friday.
Post Band Camp
- Saturday 8/24 - 7:30am to 3:00pm at TJ.
- Monday 8/26 through Thusrday, 8/29 - 4pm to 8pm, followed by social activities.
- Friday, 8/30 - performance for incoming freshmen - time TBA
