Mihr

Mihr was a Sun Enterprise 420R server residing in the Sun rack in the Machine Room. This server was running a read-only replicated copy of Sun Directory Server (LDAP for NSS (user information database)). Mihr ran Directory Server redundantly with Chuku, another 420R.

History

Mihr was one of the donated Sun servers acquired by the CSL in the spring of 2005. It was replaced in 2008 with servers received from Sun through the Sun Academic Excellence Grant.
