Welcome to the TJHSST Orchestra website!

The three TJ orchestras perform in four concerts during the school year, District XI festival, TJ Graduation, and a competition during their spring trip. Smaller groups and individuals participate in Solo and Ensemble Festival, Junior District Orchestra, Senior Regional Orchestra, and Virginia All-State Orchestra among others.

Freshmen Placement Auditions
Welcome to TJ Orchestra! Rising Freshmen should report to TJ for their optional placement audition at the time they signed up for during Preview Night. Anyone who does not have an audition scheduled should email Ms. Bailey (Allison.Bailey [at] fcps.edu). Audition requirements include 3 octave scales up to 3 sharps and 3 flats and a prepared piece.
