Automation & Robotics

Focus:

Students apply engineering concepts to the design and production of automated systems and investigate the building blocks of robotic systems including sensors, analyzers, actuators, and drivers. Students solve problems which are aimed at integrating the concepts of automation and robotic systems, electronics, computer programming, manufacturing and materials processing, while investigating the social, cultural, and economic impacts of automating a variety of systems.
