Botball is a club all about robots. Not only do we build robots from Lego and other materials, we program the robots in a C variant and hold robot competitions. At the end of each year in May, we compete against other schools in the Washington DC area in a large robot competition. The competition details are usually announced in January or February, from which point the focus of the club is building robots that solve the problem statement. Up until that point, the club focuses on building techniques, programming techniques, and in-house competitions.

Do you like to build with Legos? Do you like computers? Do you like robots? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then consider coming to Botball club. Even if you only like to build robots, but have no desire to program, still consider attending. Everyone does not have to be interested in every aspect of the club. In addition, no experience is necessary to attend.
