Namaste's Role

Since it founded I-Nite in 2001, Namaste has been sponsoring and organizing International Night at Jefferson. Over the years, attendence has grown to over one thousand, with participation from one-third of the student body. In recent years, Namaste has given back to the community through donations of I-Nite profits:

  • 2010: $3,000 donated to the Hope for Haiti relief fund after the earthquake
  • 2011: $4,000 donated to renovation project of TJ Athletic Fields, $1,000 donated to SGA's fund for Reston Interfaith

Namaste will continue to support and bring the Jefferson Community together with one of TJ's oldest traditions.
