TJHSST National Honor Society

I’m writing to see if you have students who need service hours who would be willing to support a courtyard makeover on Saturday, May 19^th.  Through grant funding we are in the process of turning an interior courtyard into an outdoor classroom.  We need lots of volunteers for the 19^th of May when most of the planting will take place. We will also need volunteers to engage small children who come with their parents.  Some of the volunteer opportunities are:

•  plant perennials and shrubs, giving priority to shrubs which require more work
•  Move mulch into the courtyard and mulch specific areas
•  Move sod

If you have students who are able to come, would it be possible for someone from your school to let us know?  Our contact person is Pat Gualtieri, our librarian.
