If your initial question is selected to be one of the top contenders you will be asked to write a narrative rationale of
one or two pages to support the selection of your question. In your narrative address the points below.
- What made you ask this question?
- How will your question encourage students to apply scientific or technological knowledge?
- How could your question could be integrated into other curricular areas at TJ?
- How would your question address community or world issues?
- How would your question lead to research opportunities?
- What 8th pd activities might form around your question?
- What speakers would you want to invite to TJ in connection with your question?
You will also need to ask 2 or more faculty members (each from a different division) to sign a form, signifying that they have fully read your proposal. Feel free to discuss it with them.
