‘Nosh with Neuro’ showcases neuroscience topics

This past weekend, the indoor track team competed at the Suffolk Stars Indoor Invitational.
The Science Olympiad team participated in an invitational in Valley Forge, Pa.
“Catchphrase” and “Statuesque,” plays written and directed by students, were performed on Jan. 11.
The Jefferson boys continued their undefeated season with a victory over Madison, a three-year Liberty District champion, while the girls fell to the Warhawks in a nail-biting loss.
Students from Japan arrived at Jefferson yesterday. After visiting math and science classrooms in the morning, they presented their own research projects during eighth period.
Josh Rittenberg, a “This I Believe” contributor at the age of 16, gave advice to aspiring writers about what it takes to produce better pieces of writing.
The boys’ varsity basketball team played against the McLean Highlanders in a close game on Jan. 8.
