Jefferson’s Science Bowl team competed at the 22nd annual National Science Bowl last week and won $1,000 for the school’s science department.

Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, an important businessman from India, visited Jefferson on May 7 to gather ideas for his educational initiatives.

Kuang, Eltinge and Verma will compete on May 18 in “It’s Academic” finals.
