Scholarships

The College/Career Center provides information about available scholarships and has organized this data into two comprehensive lists.

  • College Merit Scholarships are college-specific and primarily merit based. This list was developed with TJ students in mind and is by no means all-inclusive.  Please use the list as a springboard for further research by utilizing the college website. While every attempt is made to provide the most current information, please check the college or university for specific changes or updates.

  • General Scholarships are usually offered by businesses and organizations and are not tied to a specific college. They can be either merit or need based, and can be restricted to students who meet specific criteria. Most of the general scholarships are for seniors only. A small number of the scholarships and awards listed are for students in grades 9-12, so please check the specific criteria.

The College/Career Center periodically publishes The College Merit Scholarships Newsletter. Online versions of the newsletters are available at:

International Students: There are also links for information for College Scholarships for International Students.
