Position Description

Full-time: English (experience with advanced level classes or drama preferred)

Curriculum

The Humanities division includes integrated programs in addition to English, Social Studies and Humanity course work. Ninth, tenth and eleventh grade English course work is integrated with the Integrated English, Biology and Technology program, and the Humanities programs in tenth and eleventh grade. Other English coursework offered includes AP Journalism, English 12, AP Literature/Composition, Journalism 1-4, Photojournalism and the Writing Seminar. Social Studies courses in addition to the IBET and Humanities coursework include World History and Geography II, Virginia and US Government, Advance Placement Government, Advance Placement European History, Advanced Placement Psychology, Psychology, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Economics, Anthropology and Fundamentals of Leadership.
