Brandon Kosatka, Director, Student Services

Brandon Kosatka was born and raised in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and is a graduate of the FCPS school system. He earned a B.A. in Psychology at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina (Kilo Company, Class of 1997), and a Masters in Education in School Counseling (K-12) at James Madison University.

As an Elementary School Counselor in FCPS he helped formalize a school-wide approach to school counseling services and helped to initiate a Modified School Calendar at Franconia Elementary School.

As a High School Counselor at TJHSST, Mr. Kosatka served in a variety of leadership roles that included Test Coordination (AP&SOL), Technology Infusion, Athletic Game Management, and Graduation Committee.

Mr. Kosatka, when he's not working hard for the TJ community enjoys volleyball, backpacking, and spending time with his beautiful wife and daughters.
