Math/CS Activities = Fun at TJ!!
Overview: The Math/CS department provides students with opportunity for intellectual challeges and growth through active participation in academic teams. In an enjoyable social setting, students may also seek elected leadership roles in the Varsity Math Team and Senior Computer Team and/or earn an Academic Letter for their participation, performace and service to the community.

The Senior computer team finished 1st for the fifth year in a row at the 15th annual programming contest at the University of Maryland. Congratulations to team members Eric Price, Michael Druker, Anthony Kim and Justin Solomon.
Varsity Math Team
 Open to any student; meets Wednesday 'A' and 'B' block in Room 243
Students participate in a variety of math contests, local to international and can earn an academic letter.  For more information, see the webpage.
JV Math Team
 Open to any student enrolled in Geometry or Algebra 2.  Meets Wednesday 'B' block. 
Senior Computer
Team
 Open to any student in grades 10-12.  Meets Friday 'B' block in Room 238.  Students have the opportuntity to earn an academic letter.  For more information see the webpage.
Freshman Computer
Team
 Open to any Freshman.  Meets Friday 'A' block in Room 236.
