This course is designed for highly motivated students with prior computer experience who are self-activated learners and who are interested in pursuing a three-to- four year program in computer science (including AP Computer Science, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence and/or Supercomputing.) Students are introduced to the academic discipline of computer science with emphasis on problem solving and object-based programming utilizing the Java programming language. Both computer graphics and applications of mathematics to programming are emphasized.
