Matlab crash
The Syslab Matlab license is acting up (8 Feb 2006), so even though the new games are no longer reported as "NEW", they have not been factored into the standings. As soon as the syslab gets that fixed, the standings will update as normal. I also slightly modified the MySQL code to run more efficiently, added debugging code, and added some new features on the standings page (like "This Week" and "Last Week" standings).
UPDATE: License came back up on Friday, 12 Feb 2006. Standings are updating as normal.
Report update
The report on how the ratings work is been updated, and is a bit cleaner.
Site revamp
The internals of the site was revamped on 5 Jan 06. Nothing should appear to have changed, but the code is much cleaner, and it should load a bit faster. The site may have been unusable for a short period of time as I implemented the new changes; sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks to Nadeem for mySQL help in designing the new queries.
Statistics
For the statistically curious, tables with the number of games played each week and the number of games that have been decided by each score are now available on the Statistics page.
New URL
Sorry, sorry, new URL again. This should be the last change, but I was tired of "FoosballNew". Please update your bookmarks.
New Site Backbone!
The inner workings of the site have been switched from using text files to using mySQL. This means it should work faster, but also it allows a lot more manipulation of data to occur. Hopefully the new site is a bit better information-wise. Note that the RSS feed that was non-functional on the old site anyway has been removed.
