THEORY OF RELATIVITY

Inventor: Albert Einstein

  • Definition: Space and time are relative concepts rather than absolute concepts

This famous theory states that mass is just one from of energy. A small amount of mass can be converted to an immense amount of energy. Vice versa, and immense amount of energy can be converted into the corresponding amount of mass; this creates a new particle. When applied to real life situations, this theory proves itself for in nuclear reactors, nuclear reactions convert small amounts of mass into large amounts of energy.
