In the past two weeks, I mainly worked on the project proper,
rather than the paper. I reimplemented a module that was giving
problems, and

In the past two weeks, I found some references which gave me an
idea for a better way to detect peaks, but I wasn't able to
actually implement it.
These two weeks, I think I'll focus on my paper, including
documenting what the program is already able to do.
19 February - 5 March 2001
In the past two weeks, I accomplished my objective.
These two weeks, I hope to develop a mechanism for automatically
finding and reporting peaks in the Hough transform,
corresponding to polyps.
2-16 February 2001
My project is essentially a feasibility study in the planning
phase of a major software project -- virtual colonoscopy.
Within this study, I'm in the implementation phase, building the
Explorer map that will implement a prototype version of the
idea.
In these two weeks, I hope to successfully set up the
configuration file for GrowRegion2ThickWall and run that module,
getting the correct colon interior and visually verifying it.
