Purpose

To help students construct visual models of cells.

Materials

3 packs of construction paper (all colors), poster board for templates.

Procedure

1. Cut out templates of each organelle (one set for each group of students).
2. Give the students the templates to trace onto construction paper.
3. Students will cut and paste copies of each organelle onto their paper to create a model cell.

Follow-up

Review the functions of each organelle.
