Flyswatter Game

Purpose

To help students identify the parts of an engine.

Materials

2 flyswatters and 1 transparency with names or pictures of various parts

Procedure

  1. Divide the class into two teams.
  2. Display the transparency.
  3. Call students up, two at a time (one per team), to answer questions; the first to swat the correct answer gets a point for their team.
  4. Repeat until all students have gone, maybe longer.
