This site is an excellent source of well-organized biographical and political history on each president. It clearly outlines the events of each president’s life, political agenda, domestic and foreign affairs, as well as providing a time line of important events for each presidential term.
This website gave informative, descriptive, and accurate accounts of these presidents lives. Not too lengthy, it covered the man’s background, political career and their life after politics. It served as a great reference point in doing research.

This was an excellent source because it not only gave chronological and clear information about each historical election, but it specified which party each candidate belonged to, when a party was applicable. This site includes biographies and pictures of every president.This was
a very helpful website as it gave many useful descriptions of the presidents
in both pre-President and Presidential timeframes. The website gave a very
comprehensive analysis of just about everything that we needed to know about.

This secondary source gave very detailed and lengthy accounts of many historical events. It contained excerpts from many helpful primary sources to support the account of the event. It also has great data tables in the back of the book for reference.

This reference provided the election results, both the Electoral College and the popular vote.
Kane, Joesph Nathan. Facts about the Presidents. USA: Pocket Book, 1964.
This was an old book that my Dad had from when he was in school. It gives many interesting facts about the presidents as well as important highlights from their administration and private lives. I used it for about half of my research.
Maier, Smith, Keyssar, & Kevles, A History of the United States: Inventing America W.W. Norton & Company. New York, New York. 2003
This textbook gave detailed accounts of important events and people in
this time period, and covered all of the Presidents and elections. It has
numerous charts, maps, and political cartoons that shed light on the situation
during a particular time, and overall was very useful for research.
Newman, John & Schmalbach, John, United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Exam Amsco School Publications. New York, New York. 2004
This review book was helpful as a secondary source and gave great overviews of essential topics during the time period. It covers all of the Presidents and gives historical background very helpful for understanding the topics.
