Recently, we have had a request from a technical high school in Delaware County, PA that has Internet2 connectivity and is looking to develop a collaboration with another technical high school. I'd like to "virtually" introduce you to Vicki Fringer. Vicki is the Distance Learning Coordinator at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit. Vicki, perhaps you could tell us a bit more detail on the particular teacher or group that requested this? I hope we can get something going this time! I sent out a note to both our technical school and one of our high schools. One teacher from Marple Newtown High School replied instantly and is very interested. Below is her request/suggestion. "Let us know how we can contact their program director or humanities teacher. Perhaps we can do some collaboration with them on a common novel or history topic." * Gail Graham - Social Studies Teacher Marple Newtown High School Our technical school also indicated interest but did not specify a project. I'd be happy to arrange point to point video conferences from both our techncial school and high school to discuss options.
