*** ASSIGNMENT *** Reading Sample Research Papers
- Report on at least 4 sample research papers - one each quarter.
If these are online, show the url link to these papers
- Identify the following:
- Purpose, subject of the project, goal(s) of the project
- Scope of the study and project, the overall bounds of the work that
will be involved
- Background and review of current literature/research in this area.
- Procedure and methods used.
- Development sections, theory and procedures used
- Describe any algorithms that are discussed
- Hypothesis, explain how the project is used to achieve the goal/purpose.
- Was any data needed, how was this data collected?
- Are methods or processes listed to test and analyze the data?
- Results, analysis, and conclusions - What are the final results
- Describe the main ideas you learned from the paper.
- Are there areas for further study?
- What would be the next question to ask?
- References and Bibliography - how many references are listed?
- Compare your own paper to the sample research papers you reported on
