- Make a variable "side":
- Use the small black arrow marker:
- Slide "side" onto the move block:
- Change side by 2, use the small black marker:
- Use a "change pen color" block to draw with a different color
- Now the spiral picture looks something like this:
- Change to turn 92 degrees fror a spinning square spiral
- Use a change pen color block to change the drawing color after each move.
PART 2 - MAKE YOUR OWN BLOCK
- Now make another block named "drawSpiral"
- Create a "script variable" - also known as a 'local" variable for drawSpiral.
- The block definition looks like this now:
- Drag out your new drawSpiral block from the Motion category. Test the new block you have created.
