Plan

The Drake Equation/Static Galaxy simulation is under construction. This iteration will focus on expanding its abilities and refining its layout.

Design

The Design features for this iteration:

• Color
• Improved User Interface
• "Advanced" Drake Equation (Explorer civilizations, etc) if time

Coding

The only code to date is milky.cpp, the aforementioned Drake/Galaxy program. Screenshots:
Also acquired tgaload.h, a utility to use targa files as textures. The next iteration will likely include a "code clean-up" phase.

Testing

The only test so far has been the correct display of civilization density i.e. the program displays the correct number of dots and notifies the user when the maximum saturation has been reached.
