WEEK 1: SEPT. 4-6 2002
My goals for this week are to become familiar with the lab and specifically the html programming language. This information will aid me in creating the website for my project. I also intend to begin making my homepage, which could take a great deal of time.

WEEK 2: SEPT. 9-13 2002
For this week, I am basically focusing on my project website, which will provide informating pertaining to my status as well as general information about the subject I choose to research. I would also like to start researching possible project ideas, but the website will occupy the majority of my time.

WEEK 3: SEPT. 16-20 2002
This week, my goals include to update my website and fill in many of the vacancies in the links section. In addition, I will continue research project ideas. Thus far, I have narrowed my choices down to a project involving artificial intelligence, but because this subject is so large, I need more knowledge before I can make any decisions. My preliminary ideas can be seen in my first project proposal, which is under the PROJECT PROPOSAL link.

WEEK 4: SEPT. 23-27 2002
This week, I want to focus on getting a solid project idea because so far I have only been researching general topics. Mr. Latimer has mentioned the idea of constructing my own network following the curriculum standars of George Mason University course and this idea has sparked my interest. I will investigate this topic further this week.

WEEK 5: SEPT. 30- OCT 4 2002
On Monday, our project iteration is due so I will dedicate my time to completing this. During the remainder of the week, I will continue working on the chapter 2 assignments we began last week. In addition, I will also update my website and research the 7 layers of OSI protocol.

WEEK 6: OCT 7-11 2002
This week, I am working on finishing the chapter 2 assignments and also familiarizing myself with Latex for my project proposal.

WEEK 7: OCT 14-18 2002
This week my primary focus is to solve the problem that has set Ivan and I back the past class periods. We are attempting to understand the psuedocode provided in the book or create our own code that accomplishes the same purpose. We hope to have this problem finished by the end of the week so we can turn our attention to other more pressing assignments such as our quarter presentation.

WEEK 8: OCT 21-25 2002
This week I need to familiarize myself with Latex for my project proposal due next week. I also need to coordinate my oral report with my partner Ivan so that we can describe both the background research and our actual coding. Also, I need to catch up with the various parts of my website.

WEEK 9: OCT 28-NOV 1 2002
This week I need to present my project to the rest of the class, however my project proposal is still incomplete. Thus, on Monday and Wednesday I plan to work on my Latex document and on Friday I will present.

WEEK 10: NOV 6-NOV 8 2002
This week my goal is to finish reading Chapter 3 and start working on the assignments following the next steps in the development of my Wide Area Network. I also have to finish a couple of things on my website such as links.

WEEK 11: NOV 11-NOV 15 2002
This week my goal is to find a project idea again because my network development project was cancelled by Mr. Latimer. Thus, I need to find a new idea as quickly as possible so that I can start hopefully at the end of this week.

WEEK 12: NOV 18-NOV 22 2002
This week, now that I have a project idea, I am going to work on finishing the Chapter 3 assignment, which involves the transfer of data on the physical level of the 5-Layer OSI network.

WEEK 13: NOV 25-NOV 27 2002
This week is a shortened week because of Thanksgiving so I only have one day to work. My goal is the same as last week which is to finish the Chapter 3 assignment. Unfortunately, this is proving to be very time-consuming and the shortened week will not help my progress.

WEEK 14: DEC 2-DEC 6 2002
This week I have to re-read my code and refamiliarize myself with what I wrote two weeks ago. I am still debugging my chapter 3 code, and that will probably take the rest of this week. Hopefully, I can start chapter 4 assignments on Friday, but that goal might be rather optimistic.

WEEK 15: DEC 9-DEC 13 2002
This week I have to finish my Chapter 3 assignment. Last week got cut short because of the snow storm so I am off schedule. I hope to have it done by the next week.

WEEK 16: DEC 16-DEC 20 2002
I still haven't finished my chapter 3 assignment, but I don't really forsee myself accomplishing anything as this is the last week before winter vacation and I have college applications due very soon.

WEEK 17: JAN 6-JAN 10 2003
This week I have to take a break from my chapter 3 assignment, which I have completely forgotten about and I have to work on updating my website, which has some incomplete links such as iterations and proposals.

WEEK 18: JAN 13-JAN 17 2003
This week I have to finish the odds and ends on my website to show Mr. Latimer what I have been doing all quarter and I need to work on my poster, which is also due at the end of the quarter. I hope to finish this and work on some code this week.

WEEK 19: JAN 22-JAN 24 2003
This week I need to construct my poster, write some iterations, and finally finish some code, which sounds a bit optimistic, but I think I have a good start with it. The end of the quarter is coming soon so I should have a good grasp of the content of my project so I should refresh myself with those aspects as well.

WEEK 20: JAN 27-JAN 29 2003
This week I need to finish my poster, update my website and write another iteration. My website has somethings incomplete such as code and a transcript of runs so I need to finish that as well.

WEEK 21: FEB 3-FEB 7 2003
This week I need to finish my program invovling the unstuffing of bits and framing. I also need to change my poster because Mr. Latimer doesn't agree with my choice of pictures. I plan on changing this by substituting some runs of my code to show what my program can do thus far.

WEEK 22: FEB 10-FEB 14 2003
This week I need to research the scientific method for an assignment that Mr. Latimer gave us to make our projects more scientific. I really need to finish unstuffing and the snow day delayed my progress.

WEEK 23: FEB 17-FEB 21 2003
SNOW WEEK!!!!

WEEK 24: FEB 24-FEB 28 2003
SNOW WEEK AGAIN!!!!

WEEK 25: MAR 3-MAR 7 2003
This week I will draft my Teknos submission and also work on the next aspect of my project which is the Chapter 4 assignment. I dont know what this project entails yet but I plan on reading up on the topic this week.

WEEK 26: MAR 10-MAR 14 2003
This week I plan on finally accomplishing something with chapter 4 assignments, which have been delayed because of snow days and other days off. I also have to start my scientific method project this week so my grade isn't too low around interim time.

WEEK 27: MAR 17-MAR 21 2003
This week I plan on getting caught up with all my assignments because the end of the quarter is approaching quickly and my grade isn't doing very well. I haven't coded in a while so I also want to do that.

WEEK 28: MAR 24-MAR 28 2003
This week I need to work on my drafts for a final project report because that is due soon and also I should finish my scientific method assignment. I will have this done by the end of this week or next week.

WEEK 29: MAR 31-APR 4 2003
This week is the last week of the quarter and thus I must finish all my assignments that Mr. Latimer has spelled out on his website. I must update daily logs, goals, my project proposal and my scientific method.

WEEK 30: APR 7-APR 11 2003
This week is the last week before Spring Break so the chances are that I won't get much accomplished because I am leaving early for vacation this Friday. I would still like to make some progress with my chapter assignments.

WEEK 31: APR 14-APR 18 2003
SPRING BREAK!!!!!

WEEK 32: APR 21-APR 25 2003
This week is the first week back from Spring Break and I want to make a good effort to start my oral report and my technical paper, which are due by the end of the year. I want to start researching OpenGL soon.

WEEK 33: APR 28-MAY 2 2003
This week I plan on continuing with the assignments I started last week, but I also have to study for AP tests which begin next week.

WEEK 34: MAY 5- MAY 9 2003
This week I was sick with a sinus infection and I have AP tests as well.

This week I was sick with a sinus infection and I have AP tests as well.

WEEK 36: MAY 19-MAY 23 2003
This week I will continue with my research for my technical paper and I will begin my oral report which are both due very soon. I plan on going more in depth with the sevenlayer model and data transmission.
