The Basics of POV-Ray
The student is able to create a simple 3D graphical image using POV-Ray.
The student uses proper lighting, camera angle, and material color properties to create an attractive scene.
The student is able to use the
clock
variable to create a number of different frames for a ray-traced animation.
Web Page Presentation on POV-Ray
The web page explains about POV-Ray, the specific images that were generated and what they represent, and how the scene was modified to create an animation with the clock variable.
The web page has examples of the graphics generated by the POV-Ray program.
The web page has an animated GIF image that shows the scene generated using the clock variable.
The web page contains links to properly documented source code for the POV-Ray image scenes that the student created.
Extra Credit
Does your program involve advanced features of POV-Ray or did you successfully use the LINUX cluster to generate your animation?
Does your program show exceptional creativity or imagination in design or execution? Explain below.
