  • 9/9-13/02 -- My goal for this week is to get a basic website up and running. I want to complete the skeleton and then add more effects throughout the year. I also want to begin streamlining my idea for a senior tech project. I have a pretty good idea about what I want to do, I just need to work out certain aspects.

  • 9/16-27/02 -- I want to finish formatting my website and make sure that all of the links are consistent. I need to design the layout template for all of the pages and learn the necessary html. I also want to add links for my project code and test runs. Lastly, if SysAdmin can get Eclipse installed on the machines, i can work on the code.

  • 9/30-10 - 10/02 -- I need to finish all of my website links and I also want to start working in Eclipse if it is installed.

  • 10/7-18/02 -- Eclipse was installed, but there is a problem in transferring my program from the GMU system to this network. I need to search and destroy the problems that are in my way.

  • 10/21-31/02 -- I want to finish up my Cellular Automata so that it can run. I think that the SysAdmin hasn't installed the java.util.Random JRE through Eclipse, so I have to run the program from the command line.

  • 11/4-14/02 -- As it is a new quarter, I will change my direction. I will spend the next few weeks working on my Genetic Algorithm. I wrote an algorithm in LISP, so it will hopefully be a useful guide in writing this new Genetic Algorithm.

  • 11/18-28/02 -- Do an iteration progress report and work on the GA.

  • 12/2-12/02 -- Continue the GA.

  • 12/16/02-1/9/03 --Begin work on my poster. Start working on all necessary aspects of it.

  • 1/13-29/03 -- Finish my poster and all other necessary items, including progress reports, daily logs, and updating my website.

  • 2/3-13/03 -- Complete the easy access links and project description assignments.

  • 2/24-3/6/03 -- Complete the scientific method (or, at least, as much as is possible at this stage of project development).

  • 3/10-20/03 -- I will use these two weeks as a planning period. As it turns out, I was not in school for much of these weeks (sickness and surgery).

  • 3/24-4/3/03 -- Complete all assignments for this quarter and get the website in order.

  • 4/7-4/25/03 -- Survive college visits and Spring Break.

  • 4/28-5/15/03 -- Study and complete the APs for when I am in school, and complete my schoolwork when time allows.

  • 5/19-5/29/03 -- Start wrapping up my project so I can begin the end of year paperwork and organization.

  • 6/4-6/18/03 -- Complete every assignment the way Mr. Latimer would like them done. Have everything organized neatly on my website. BE DONE!
