Hi!  My name is Linh Pham, and I'm in Mr. Latimer's second period computer systems class.  You can e-mail me at GuitarGirl603@hotmail.com...or, if you prefer, my school e-mail is lpham@lan.tjhsst.edu.

One of my favorite computer-related pastimes is webpage designing.  It's funny--I love designing websites, but I can never keep them updated.  I've designed about five websites: the Keyettes website, part of my AP US History group's AP Experts site, my swim club's website, and my group's Imagine the Future website, which is what my tech lab project is going to be based on.  I also have a personal website, but it's pretty tacky looking--I made it about three years ago and haven't touched it since.  As you can probably guess from my websites, the part I really love about website designing is the creativity--I love fussing around with Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash.

As for the code aspect of computers--I took Computer Science, AP Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Supercomputing, so I know C++, some C, and Lisp.  I'd really like to become much more proficient at C++ than I am--especially with OpenGL, so that I can make pretty graphics! =)  I'd also like to learn Java (in my free time...of which I have none) and the web languages: Perl and PHP.

I'm also interested in a multitude of other things.  I'm on this school's Varsity Swing Dance Team (didn't know we had one, did you?), and I also love doing community service.  I'm involved in Keyettes, Octagon Club, and NHS, and I volunteer every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9pm at CrossLink International.  I also like cross-stitching and kickboxing (whoa!  Talk about a weird mental image) and physics.
