12/02/02: Blueprints

I know it's not a creative title--so sue me!  (My, aren't we snappy today?  Blame it on the fact that we're back in school.  Blah.)  Anyway, regardless of whether or not it's creative, it's descriptive.  I actually sat down and figured out how I wanted to lay out the museum.  So without further ado, here are the museum blueprints drawn to scale (although I haven't really figured out how I want to organize the Technological Innovations section of the museum, so that's just this empty room right now):

The blue lines represent walls, the light blue lines represent doors, the blue words label the rooms, and the fuschia words label the different wings of the museum.  Click on the picture for a larger image.  A more detailed blue print with coordinates and everything will be coming out soon.

I've also thought of some ways to split up Technological Innovations.&nbps; I was thinking that I could organize that wing in a method similar to the rest of the museum.  For example: Music/Sound Recording, TV/Video Recording, the Information Age, the Space Race, Weapons, Transportation, Buildings, etc.  Still mulling it over though.

Finally, an updated list of useful programs of which I still have not taped one...BLARGH!  Anyway, ignoring that outburst, I assure you I will eventually tape one of these darn programs:

Date Time Program
Monday 12/02 7:00pm - 8:00pm Commercial Jets
Tuesday 12/03 2:00pm - 3:00pm Smart Bombs
Thursday 12/05 7:00am - 8:00am The Most: Astounding Structures
Saturday 12/07 7:30am - 8:00am Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War - Siege
Sunday 12/08 12:00pm - 1:00pm Digi-Tech
Sunday 12/08 8:00pm - 10:00pm Tora, Tora, Tora: The Real Story of Pearl Harbor

Considering my history with these thinks let's just hope that I'll be able to remember to tape one of these programs...
