01/15/03: Getting Back on Track

Okay, well, I figured that since next Monday is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday (yay! a holiday!), there must be a program on the History Channel about him.  There isn't.  Am I the only one who finds that really strange?  There are programs about the the Homefront during World War II, The Empire State Building, and the Golden Gate Bridge, but nothing about Martin Luther King Jr.  Speaking of the Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge, I think one of the Technology wing's subdivisions should be Architecture: Engineering Feats.  Anyway, here are the programs that might be useful that are coming up in the next week.  Maybe I'll actually tape them this time:

Date Time Program
Thursday 1/16 7:00am - 8:00am The Most: Criminal Duos/Treason/Proof Positive/Inventions/Lindberg's Atlantic Crossing
Monday 1/20 3:00am - 4:00am The Color of War: Homefront
Monday 1/20 9:00am - 10:00am Empire State Building
Monday 1/20 12:00pm - 1:00pm Golden Gate Bridge
Monday 1/20 3:00pm - 4:00pm Empire State Building
Monday 1/20 6:00pm - 7:00pm Golden Gate Bridge
Tuesday 1/21 8:00am - 9:00am Fly Past: The Wings of Man
Tuesday 1/21 9:00am - 10:00am Fly Past: Straight Up
Wednesday 1/22 7:00am - 8:00am World's Fairs: Visions of the Future
Wednesday 1/22 12:00pm - 1:00pm Hoover Dam
Wednesday 1/22 1:00pm - 2:00pm Paving America

Okay, two more subdivisions of the Technology wing: Entertainment and Transportation.

I was planning to make the collision detection my next order of business, but Mr. Latimer wants to have some exhibits working so that we can show Mr. Morasca and see if this could be turned into an Internet2 application.  So I guess that means that the spacing out and placing of museum exhibits is my next order of business as well as finding videos and putting them online.  So expect yet another section to be added to my website in the next couple of days.  Bwah.  Well, I'll go work on it now.  Later.
